I am introducing this pen name for my line of contemporary romance stories. Currently there are only two, but I am working on a third.

Ellie

I fell in love with my best friend when we were sixteen. At eighteen, we weren’t ready for a lifetime commitment. I went to nursing school, and Jason joined the Army. Saying goodbye to him the day he left nearly broke my heart. I never expected him to ghost me for the next ten years, practically.

Ten years later, I went to Crescent Lake for vacation, the same lake where we’d spent six summers together. When he called my name and I saw him, those years apart seemed to fall away.

I hardly dared to hope we could reclaim the love we lost.

Jason
I can’t even make excuses for the way I ghosted Ellie while I was in the Army. It was a different world than the one we shared those carefree summers at Crescent Lake. The memories we made there got me through some of the darkest times during two tours of combat duty. We did and saw stuff I could never tell her about.

When I went back to Crescent Lake to decompress after my discharge from the Army, I never expected her to be there. Somehow, I had to make things right because Ellie was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Wolf
It’s time to make my move.
I finally have the leverage to make her mine.
I can give her what she craves… What she needs…. I can make her burn for me…

Until she sees my face, but I am the monster she needs.
She was born to be mine.

Ruby
Grandma said we would have a girls’ weekend at a cabin in the woods. We drove for hours to get there, then she left me. With A man called Wolf but
he wasn’t a man at all;
he was a monster.
But what he did to me made me feel more alive than ever.
