Cyborg Guardian Series Premise
In the sci-fi romantasy world I created for my cyborg series and my Aledan Series, cyborgs were created to defend Earth and the Federation by a secret government agency known as the Civil Restoration Enclave of North America. After an interstellar incident that caused a devastating alien attack on Earth, cyborgs were activated by the tens of thousands to fight the 100-year interstellar war that ensued.
The Earth’s population was decimated, and living standards were set back to the 19th century. Civilization was fragmented. The Enclave helped with supply drops throughout North America, but law and order were non-existent. Small groups of cyborgs initially returned to help rebuild civilization after the war in the hope that they could find the genetic mates promised to them for fighting the war.
Vyken Dark’s team is depicted in the Cyborg Awakenings Series. His team awakened cyborgs still in stasis who never went to war to help restore civilization. Hundreds of them went west to assist the Cyborg Rangers, and they became the Cyborg Guardians.
Cyborg Guardian Series
The storyline for Cyborg Guardians began in Book Six of the Cyborg Ranger series, which was Shadow. He asked for a team of Cyborgs protectors to help him take down a Mesaarkan base in the Montana Rockies. Vyken Dark sent a team of six protectors, also known as Guardians: Daken Rowe, Raven Blackwood, Trinity Vega, Orion Storm, Phoenix Blaze, and Steele Nova. Steel Nova’s story started in Shadow.
At the end of that book, Steele found his genetic mate at the Mesaarkan base and took her to the medical center in Chicago for treatment at the end of the book. The first book of the Cyborg Guardian series picks up Steel Nova’s story from there. The rest of his team has a small part in both his story and Shadow’s story.
The Cyborg Guardian series is currently ongoing. I have published Book One Steel Nova, and Raven Blackwood is currently available for preorder with a release date of May 30, 2025.
